Precious moment of TRB with Sobita Sen Roy at Natrakona

19th October, Friday – who knew that the day would be so great! Yes, it was the Sobita Sen Roy with whom we met and shared various issues about Bangladeshi culture. TRB members have made a successful visit to and meeting with great personality Sobita Sen Roy. Along with her, TRB found out two great personalities there, Great Poet Golam Arshadul Rahman and Femous Stage Drama Director Vanu Dutta.

TRB Founder Rajan Saha inaugurated the program honoring her with little gift (Black & White shari). The Program of TRB with Chief personality Sobita SenRoy was started with playing the violin by Partha Protim Barman. Sabita Sen Roy had given the warm welcome Tablaraj Bangladesh (TRB) through opening the TRB’s prospectus in front of all the audience. She expressed her valuable speech to share her knowledge with us - the youths and motivated as well singing a Rag “MAL- KOSH”.

Bangladesh is colorful country with its diverse and stretched extension of culture. We have achieved a lot of talents from past and till now we are moving with those results of the inner talents.
Whenever we talk about our culture, we instantly can think nothing but our language and it is ornamented with our exclusive music. Music is a vast area in our culture and we believe that music is world asset which should live for the eternity.

Our main objective is to bring the roots of country’s music in the front line and present that to the present and new generation. We are more interested in bringing out the history of local and old musical instrument. More over our motive is to bring upon the biography of the successful as well as the struggling musician and talk about their successes. Along with music, we would like to move in different other area of Bangladeshi culture, that is we will be working on the artist who have just stepped in the cultural zone (example, story writer or lyrist or poet). We will work with these people who are at the initial stage of their life with cultural issues and bring them in the lime light. Our future goal is to find and bring the talents from different corners of the country and give them the platform to spread the local shade of the vast culture .....

Rajan Saha, one of the most benevolent young Tabla player & Rhythm Director Of Bangladesh. His life background is very struggled & he did very hard work to get introduced himself as one of the best tabla player & instrumentalist in the classical & also in his band " Trimatra". Plz join this group to support him to have better success in near future of him. Rajan Saha was born in 1980 at Jamalpur town of Mymensingh. From childhood he was very much attracted to instrumental music. In the inspiration of his parents he first initiated his Tabla career to Late Ustad Ramkrishna Karmakar at “Jamalpur Shishu Academy”. He got the juvenile award from “Natun Kuri” inaugurated by BTV at instrumental music at 1993. After that he got “Education Week award” nationally 1994/95. Rajan Saha completed his higher secondary training course from “Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy” at the year 1999/2000. He also completed his Pre-graduation course on “instrument of music” from India at the year 2000 & completed his graduation course at 2004. At 2004 he passed few days at “Shanewaj Hall” of Dhaka University with his childhood friend Rajib (Famous singer for Closeup - 1)& His Band Members Chandan,Palash,Tarek,Rassel. Then he stayed as a roommate with rickshaw puller and the workers. They all become pleasant to get an artist within them. Within this time he walked around many places for his activities. He met many stars in this time. He took his first step in the mega serial named “Ditio Jibon” with Partho Barua in the direction of famous director S.A. Haq Alik. He joined with “Padatik Nattya Sangsad(Bangladesh)” at the same time. He got the opportunity as a rhythm director in the famous theater show “Jol Balika” written by Masum Reza & directed by Samsul Alam Bokul with the help of the team leader of “Podatik Natto Shangshod(Bangladesh)” Selim Samsul Huda Chowdhury. In the same General Secretary of “Shommilito Shangshkritik Jot” Golam Kuddus gave him the chance to play Tabla at different programs of this organization. And after that Rajan Saha need not to turn back in his life. He make his place in the cultural section of Dhaka so strong easily. In this short time of interval he worked in many respectable functions in the cultural section. Within these programs the first inauguration of “Close-Up One”, comedy serial named “Rashik Raj” & “Shesh Akhhor” of ATN Bangla are mentionable. At the time of tour to India for theater baily road’s drama “Rupvan” & the drama “Jol balika” of Podatik he acted as a rhythmist. Behind the succession in the life of Rajan Saha he really thanked those people who really helped him to be a famous one. He mentioned names of Indromohon Rajbongshi, Asadujjaman Nur, Beli Apa(Afroza Banu), Rumi Ajnaabi, Rahmatullah Tuhin, Nargis Chowdhury, Sanja Sayed,Chandan Trimatra, Bangla vision producer Nahid Ahmed Biplob & Saju Khadem etc who really helped him in the succession of his career.
